Ep. 27 - I Identify as a High Priest (Shabbos 31a)
In this episode of the Thinking Talmudist Podcast (Ep. 27), Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe learns the Talmud from Tractate Shabbos 31a and discusses the story of a convert who approached Shamai and wanted to convert on condition that he would be appointed the Kohen Gadol, the High Priest. Shamai turned him away, but Hillel converted him and gently guided him to the path of Torah.
